In the past week, she has started walking without holding on. While she was holding on to the coffee table, going around and around and around it, we noticed that she only goes counterclockwise, steadying herself with her left hand on the table with her right hand waving in the air, sometimes holding/carrying something. She never goes clockwise around the table. I'm wondering if this could be an indication of eventual hand preference, or if it has to do with anything at all--is this common for a baby to only go in one direction when practicing walking? Do some go clockwise and others go counterclockwise?
